lyrics

Thought it was running me
Not the other way around
In a moment of clarity
I could see what I'd found
When the doctor blows
On a scorching day
Thought I'd found it there
On the Cathkin Braes

Sea Swallow
Ten thousand miles you track
Over your life
Three times to the moon and back
Summer to Summer
swooping so light
The arctic Tern
In Marathon flight

Buttercups on a sprawling lawn
Where daylight just goes on and on
And still between two worlds
I'm torn, I'm torn
Left you on the front porch
Face crumpled, such pain
Taxi leaves in the drizzling rain
I can't believe, we're doing this again

Sea Swallow, ten thousand miles you track
Over your life
three times to the moon and back
Summer to summer
Swooping so light
The arctic tern, in marathon flight
